CCBC held an information session on China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) on September 19, 2019 in Toronto. Chris Twigge-Molecey shared his perspectives on the possible opportunities available for Canadian businesses in China’s BRI and how business people can move forward. Following his overview, Ms. Changwen Nie, the CEO & ED of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC, Canada), discussed ICBC Group’s experiences in financing BRI projects for foreign companies and areas that ICBC can assist Canadian businesses.
