Legal Foundations to Ensure Commercial Success in China

Sep 15, 2020CCBC Past Events

China represents a major market for many Canadian companies. The opening up of the Chinese market, changes to the law on intellectual property, and adjustments to the rules governing foreign investment create many business opportunities on Chinese soil for companies that will be able to prepare and structure themselves for this huge market.

The Canada China Business Council, in partnership with Investissement Québec International and the Bureaux du Québec en Chine, on September 15 presented a webinar on how to best lay the legal foundations to ensure your commercial success in China.

Experts from the industry discussed topics such as:

  • Protection of intellectual property
  • Expansion models and legal structures
  • Chinese contractual negotiations
  • Employment in China

The session was presented in both English and French, and was free of charge for CCBC members and non-members.
