The CCBC was joined by 173 guests in Vancouver on Tuesday, May 6 to welcome Mr. Guy Saint-Jacques, Canada’s ambassador to the People’s Republic of China. Ambassador Guy Saint-Jacques gave a presentation on the current economic developments in China.
Opening remakes were delivered by Chinese Consul General Madame LIU Fei. Also in attendance were Mr. Colin Hansen, Former Deputy Premier and His Excellency James Lambert, Canada’s Ambassador to the Netherlands.
There was a formal introduction made between the two ambassadors.
Ambassador Guy Saint-Jacques is fluent in Mandarin and he is on his fourth posting to China. He has previously served in Hong Kong and twice in Beijing.
