China Ready 2022 Series Session #2: The E-commerce Revolution – Get Your Product into the World’s Largest Consumer Market
September 21, 2022
China has experienced explosive growth in e-commerce and has now taken the top spot as the world’s largest online consumer market. In 2020, the Chinese market was worth US$1,343.5 billion in sales, with fashion being the biggest segment. According to a report by Statista, China will stay in the lead through 2025 when revenue is estimated to reach US$1,996.0 billion, as China’s rapidly growing middle-class try to get quality imported products through e-commerce platforms. With stats like these, the time has never been better for brands to connect with Chinese consumers by providing high-quality Canadian goods.
