Business Luncheon with LU Shaye, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Canada, and The Honourable Denis Coderre, Mayor of Montreal
LU Shaye, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Canada, was the keynote speaker and The Honourable Denis Coderre, Mayor of Montreal, was a guest speaker at a CCBC business luncheon on Thursday, April 27, 2017.
Mr. LU discussed China’s commitment to promoting a stronger bilateral relationship with Canada. He also explained the latest developments in China-Canada relations and elaborate on China’s plans to welcome Canadian businesses.
Mr. Coderre updated guests on the City’s progress regarding its developments in bilateral trade and investment, following his trip to Shanghai that included a gala celebrating the inaugural Montreal-Shanghai flight.
