CCBC 2024 Women’s Business Mission to China

Diversifying Exports and Deepening China Market Penetration

November 11-15, 2024

Business Mission to China; November 11-15, 2024
From November 11-15, 2024, CCBC will lead a Business Mission to China designed for female* founders and CEOs, as well as women executives responsible for business development/exports to China. The objective of the Mission is to allow women business leaders to build and strengthen partnerships for export and accelerate their China business development.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

  • In-market visits and meetings in both Shanghai and Beijing
  • Four hours of China-ready pre-Mission orientation training
  • Minimum two curated B2B introductions to help further China-facing business plans
  • Opportunity to connect with a cohort of women business leaders who share an interest in China business development
  • CanExport Associations funding available for delegates, priority for funding given to delegates who did not participate in the 2023 mission
  • Access to CCBC network and member benefits throughout the Mission program
  • Complimentary participation in CCBC’s 46th AGM and Business Forum

Beginning in Shanghai and finishing in Beijing, this five-day Mission program provides delegates with high-level interactions with senior executives at a variety of businesses and organizations to foster network expansion and deepen delegate understanding of current market conditions. In each of its Business Mission programs, CCBC leverages its expansive network cultivated over 45 years of Canada-China business to deliver one-of-a-kind value, including meetings and in-market visits that would be difficult for delegates to arrange themselves.

The Mission’s final business roundtable draws participation from CCBC’s signature annual event, the 46th AGM and Business Forum, which convenes executives and dignitaries involved in Canada-China business. Delegates are also provided complimentary access to the morning and evening portions of that event.

Leading up to the Mission, delegates will undertake four hours of pre-Mission orientation, including training modules on business culture and IP protection. As part of the Mission, all delegates will be granted a minimum of two B2B introductions to further support their China-facing business plans.
