CCBC and CanCham Beijing were delighted to bring together over 210 guests for a fantastic celebration of Canada’s 157th birthday on July 6. It was an unforgettable evening filled with joy and camaraderie.
It was a sincere pleasure for CCBC and CanCham Beijing to be able to bring together over 200 guests for a fabulous celebration of Canada’s 156th birthday on July 1, 2023, in Beijing. Temperatures and spirits were soaring as we cracked Collective Arts beers, Canadian wine courtesy of D2C, and Niagara Ice wine from Helia Winery on the terrace of the Kerry Hotel, under an 8 by 10-meter Canadian flag.
After a challenging start to 2022, CCBC and CanCham Beijing were thrilled to bring the community together for Canada’s 155th birthday celebration. Temperatures and spirits soared as we enjoyed Moosehead beers from ACBN and Niagara VQAs from Helia Winery, including an ice wine toast, on the rooftop of the Kerry Hotel.
More than 200 people gathered in downtown Beijing to celebrate Canada’s 152nd birthday with the Canada Day in Beijing Gala Dinner on June 21, 2019! The evening featured the very best of Canadian lobster, beef, and wines and lively entertainment with Madame et son Orchestre and OnPoint. No festive occasion is complete without special draws for some impressive prizes including a signed Raptors Jersey and Signature Class Airline tickets!
CCBC’s Canada Day Gala Dinner welcomed almost 190 different companies to celebrate and dine on Canadian food and wine. The Honourable Bardish Chagger, former Minister of Small Business and Tourism, was the Keynote Speaker, and the Honourable John McCallum, Ambassador of Canada to the People’s Republic of China gave the opening remarks. Also in attendance was a Canadian delegation of over 70 representatives from the tourism industry to promote the full range of destinations across Canada. The evening’s entertainment included performances by The Hot Club of Beijing and Tami Neilson.
The 151st Canada Day Fair featured live performances by Canadian musicians, hockey demonstrations by the National Hockey League (NHL), booths featuring great Canadian food and wine, a dynamic fashion zone, and the opportunity to experience, sample, and purchase a wide variety of Canadian products. It was the biggest Canada Day event outside of Canadian borders!
