Canadian Mission to Hong Kong for International Healthcare Week
May 26 – 28, 2025
Mission Objective:
Coinciding with the Asia Summit on Global Health (ASGH) and HKTDC Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair (HKIMHF), the objective of the mission is to facilitate delegates in leveraging these two anchor events and others under the International Healthcare Week (IHW) to expand their contact network and discuss possibilities.
Program Highlight:
(Note: the core programme of this Canadian Mission is to attend ASGH and HKIMHF during May 26 – 28, 2025. Delegates are also encouraged to review the other IHW programmes to select events of their interest for participation and adjust their travel dates accordingly.)
ASGH Summit (May 26 – 27) – Positioned as Asia’s premier event on health innovation and investment, the fifth edition of the Summit themed “Fostering Global Collaboration for a Shared Future” a high-level symposium covering a wide range of topics from global health issues and healthcare innovation to business and investment opportunities in Asia, as well as a series of thematic sessions focusing on the latest trends in various health- and biomedical-related sectors. A series of thematic sessions focusing on the latest trends in various medical sectors as well as deal-making session will be organized to facilitate business discussion and investment partnerships. InnoHealth Showcase, a dedicated exhibition area showcasing global healthcare projects and technologies will be featured alongside the Summit.

Medical and Healthcare Fair (May 26 – 28) – The Fair in 2024 brought together some 300 exhibitors from eight countries and regions, showcasing a wide range of innovative medical products and solutions and promotes global industry collaboration to position Hong Kong as a hub for medical innovation. The fair had multiple zones including Biotechnology, Hospital Equipment, Rehabilitation and Elderly Care, World of Health and Wellness, Startup Zone, the Fair.

The International Healthcare Week https://internationalhealthcareweek.hktdc.com/en/ (May 26 – June 15, 2025) is an initiative synergizing healthcare related events in Hong Kong to facilitate more cross-disciplinary collaboration between industry players and interlocutors. It will include conferences, seminars, webinars, roundtable meetings, networking activities, etc., to examine global trends in health innovation and investment, explore areas of global collaboration in the health arena, and showcase new business opportunities and partnership for investors and project owners.
(Note: Members of this Canadian Mission interested to participate in any of the IHW events other than ASGH and HKIMHF are required to register with the organizers of these events directly.)
