The winners of the CCBC Canada China Business Excellence Awards were announced during a luncheon on

The Outstanding SME Awards were presented to the SMEs that best exemplify the innovative inclusion of China in their company’s growth and overall business strategy. The successful implementation of such an initiative has significantly improved the company’s competitive edge and financial performance.

unique Beijing Energy Research facility that allows it to partner with companies and universities.

created a global powerhouse in the tire industry that marries the Chinese partner’s manufacturing expertise with the
Canadian team’s international market capability.

Real Estate Development and Management
Brivia Management Inc. – a Montreal real estate developer whose signature project, YUL Condos, is
jointly invested by Brivia and a Chinese company, Tianco Group. Brivia has also used unique financing for this
project via a syndicate of Chinese and Canadian banks.

 

The Outstanding Member Awards were presented to the CCBC member organizations, irrespective of size or industry, which have had high profile and successful business initiatives or projects in the last two years. The Canada China Business Excellence Awards recognize companies that have achieved excellent results in their business dealings and/or investment with China. The winners honoured today have, over the past two years, made tremendous strides in growing their enterprises and deepening their ties with China.
