CCBC and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Beijing were happy to resume our annual Canadian Christmas dinner in Beijing on December 9 after a two-year hiatus, hosting over 200 friends and family members. Heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, prize donors, band and enthusiastic guests – with special mention going to our Lead Sponsors: BMO Financial Group and Power Corporation of Canada, Santa Workshop’s Sponsor: Royal Bank of Canada, and Entertainment Sponsor: Teck Resources China. We also had the opportunity to host H.E. Jennifer May, Canada’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China as our honoured guest speaker, delivering an inspiring and insightful welcome address.

No Christmas celebration would be complete without being rounded out with an amazing roster of prizes donated by some of Canada’s biggest names. This year, they included two Canada Goose luxury parkas, as well as two return tickets to anywhere in Canada provided by Air Canada. Other terrific prizes from Canada included Tims, Au Noir, Loopdivision, M0851, and Willow Spring Winery, and many more from our partners at the InterContinental Sanlitun, Centro, and Rosewood Beijing.
