CCBC was pleased to partner with the Montreal Council on Foreign Relations (CORIM) for a luncheon with H.E. Jennifer May, Ambassador of Canada to the People’s Republic of China, on September 16, 2024, in Montreal. This event provided an excellent opportunity to bring together CCBC’s Quebec members. Ambassador May delivered an insightful speech on the opportunities and challenges in the complex Chinese market, encouraging Canadian businesses to stay attuned to this dynamic landscape. CCBC Board Chair Olivier Desmarais also had the opportunity to exchange perspectives with the Ambassador, where he emphasized our members’ continued interest in exploring business prospects between Canada and China.
