CCBC held a Lunar New Year cocktail reception on Thursday, January 16, 2020, in Toronto with E Defeng, Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Consulate General in Toronto, and Elizabeth Roscoe, Senior VP of Public Affairs at Hill + Knowlton Strategies.

Mr. E discussed a number of significant business and trade events that will take place in China in 2020. Ms. Roscoe provided insight into the newly elected federal government and how that will impact bilateral business.

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, the networking cocktail reception featured a high-end Chinese liquor courtesy of Langjiu, and a festive draw offering prizes and gifts.
