CCBC’s AGM Policy Conference and Gala took place in Toronto on Thursday, September 21, 2017. The sold-out event welcomed senior executives and Chinese delegates, and provided them with a platform to share their experiences and knowledge when doing business between Canada and China.

CCBC held a breakfast networking session in Calgary, to inform members and guests about the many opportunities available at the 122nd China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, in Guangzhou, China, from October 15 to November 4, 2017
CCBC’s Beijing Chamber of Commerce partnered with 19 other Chambers in Beijing for one of the largest networking events of the year with more than 500 guests.
CCBC hosted a Summer Sendoff Cocktail Reception for members and Chinese business executives with Sarah Kutulakos, Executive Director of CCBC. Sarah discussed the in-depth consultations CCBC has had with Canadian business leaders and SMEs on a bilateral Free Trade Agreement as well as trade and investment issues involving Canada and China.
CCBC’s Cross-Canada Outreach Events focused on alternative capital for small and medium-sized companies. The events featured guests from CCBC’s network of finance experts and others who led participants toward a clearer understanding of the opportunities available using alternative capital, and the best methods of pursuing and implementing them.
