CCBC Partners with Global Affairs Canada to Deliver Record-Breaking Pavilion Presence, Welcoming Thousands of Qualified Trade Visitors
The Canada China Business Council (CCBC), in strategic collaboration with Global Affairs Canada’s diplomatic missions across China, proudly unveiled two country pavilions at the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE): the Natural Health Products Pavilion and the Consumer Goods Pavilion, reaffirming Canada’s strong commitment to deepening trade and commercial engagement with China.
Bringing together 40 leading Canadian exporters as co-exhibitors across the two pavilions, the six-day showcase welcomed thousands of professional buyers, industry stakeholders, and trade partners, fostering high-value networking and business matchmaking opportunities.
The opening ceremony on November 6 featured remarks by Bijan Ahmadi, Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer of CCBC, and H.E. Jennifer May, Canada’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China. Their remarks highlighted the significance of continued bilateral trade cooperation and the shared goal of advancing sustainable and mutually beneficial growth between Canada and China.
Complementing the national pavilions, Canada’s expanded CIIE presence also featured a dedicated Agri-Food Country Pavilion and provincial booths representing Saskatchewan and Quebec. With a delegation of more than 112 Canadian exporters, this year marked the largest Canadian participation in CIIE history, highlighting the growing momentum and renewed confidence in Canada–China trade and investment collaboration.
