Virtual Roadshow for the 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE)

Juil 7, 2022Événements passés

Established in 2018 and co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Shanghai Municipal Government, the China International Import Expo (CIIE) is the world’s first import-themed national-level expo. It was designed to promote the Chinese domestic market and boost domestic consumption.

This year’s CIIE is scheduled for November 5-10, 2022, and will be held in Shanghai, China.

On Thursday July 7, 2022, at 9:00 am EDT, CCBC and session co-hosts CIIE Bureau and Bank of China (Canada) held a virtual session on how organizations can benefit from the trade fair, either as an exhibitor, buyer or visitor. The speakers introduced the highlights of the upcoming CIIE trade fair with a focus on two of Canada’s strongest sectors — Food and Agricultural Products, and Trade-In Services — and we explored how you can maximize your CIIE experience.

With more than 420 new technologies, services and products expected to be on display this year, CIIE is a must-attend exhibition for Canadian businesses that currently work with China or are actively seeking to enter the Chinese market.
