Finding the Right Formula for Starting up Your Businesses in Calgary and Alberta

CCBC with Calgary Economic Development (CED) presented a free seminar providing information on launching a local business in Calgary. The presentation explained the process to help Chinese companies with their Canadian strategies and the on-the-ground services available to support the growth of companies and their business operations.

The two guest speakers were Barrister/Solicitor Kevin Wong from Stonecracker Scienfitic Law and Karen Patterson from X-Cultural Consulting. Kevin will discuss the SR&ED (Scientific Research & Experimental Development) and their R&D Shift program (approved by Canada Revenue Agency) to increase access to cash and multiply investment dollars. Karen from X-Cultural Consulting will share her experiences of how a business entrepreneur from China set up her own business in Calgary.
