On August 12, 2025, the Canada China Business Council (CCBC) hosted an education roundtable to explore key areas of collaboration between Canadian and Chinese academic institutions. The discussion focused on the following themes:

• Differences in education systems in Canada and China
• Preparing future leaders
• The role of artificial intelligence in academic settings
• Student and faculty exchanges
• Program partnerships

The roundtable welcomed a distinguished Chinese education delegation and brought together leading Canadian education stakeholders for a productive dialogue on enhancing bilateral academic cooperation. Participants shared insights on how institutions can jointly equip the next generation of leaders, embrace technological innovation, and foster greater academic connectivity between Canada and China.

This initiative reflects CCBC’s ongoing commitment to advancing Canada-China collaboration in education and talent development, supporting the broader goal of building a future-ready, globally engaged workforce.
