LU Shaye, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Canada, was the keynote speaker and Sarah Hoffman, Deputy Premier of Alberta and Minister of Health, welcomed Mr. LU to Calgary at a CCBC business luncheon on Thursday, May 18, 2017.

 

At the event, Mr. LU discussed the renewed relationship between China and Alberta resulting from Premier Rachel Notley’s meetings with Chinese officials and he will address the latest developments in China-Canada relations, the FTA, and China’s attitude to Canadian businesses. Deputy Premier Hoffman also provided an update on the outcomes of Premier Notley’s recent China visit.
