LU Shaye, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Canada, was the keynote speaker and John Tory, Mayor of Toronto, was the guest speaker at a CCBC business luncheon on Tuesday, April 18, 2017.
CCBC President Graham Shantz met with members at a reception to discuss the organization’s plans and priorities on March 29, 2017 in Vancouver. He shared his perspectives on current affairs in Canada-China relations and elaborated on the potential opportunities for companies pursuing bilateral relationships.
CCBC’s regional investment outreach continued in two more cities: Guangzhou and Shenzhen on March 23 and 24 respectively. These sessions brought together both Canadian business people and Chinese investors to connect around common business interests.
