LU Shaye, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Canada, was the keynote speaker and Stewart Beck, President & CEO of Asia Pacific Foundation, was the guest speaker at a CCBC business luncheon on Thursday, May 11, 2017.

 

Mr. LU discussed China’s commitment to promoting a stronger bilateral relationship with Canada. He also addressed the latest developments in China-Canada relations, the FTA, and China’s attitude to Canadian businesses.

 

Mr. Beck addressed how British Columbia businesses can secure the China market for exports as well as the province’s role in the bilateral relationship between Canada and China.
