On June 17, 2025, the Canada China Business Council (CCBC) participated in a symposium on Canada-China relations hosted by the Embassy of the People\u2019s Republic of China in Canada.<\/div>\n

CCBC President Graham Shantz and Executive Director & COO Bijan Ahmadi joined the roundtable discussions that took place as part of the symposium chaired by H.E. WANG Di, Ambassador of the People\u2019s Republic of China to Canada. The event brought together nearly 20 experts, scholars, and representatives from 16 Canadian institutions, including universities, think tanks, and business associations.<\/div>\n

At the roundtable, CCBC leadership focused on the future of Canada-China bilateral ties and shared key recommendations on behalf of the business community to enhance trade and investment relations between the two countries.<\/div>\n

Ambassador Wang Di emphasized the importance of advancing practical cooperation, removing barriers, and strengthening bilateral ties to deliver tangible benefits for both countries and contribute to global stability.<\/div>\n
