Established in 1957, the Canton Fair is held every spring and autumn in Guangzhou, China, and connects over 26,000 exhibitors to more than 200,000 buyers from 210 countries each session. The long-running Fair was established to assist companies in the international market to enhance their China strategy by importing to and\/or exporting from China, and boasts the largest buyer attendance, the broadest distribution of buyers\u2019 source country, and the greatest business turnover in China.<\/p>\n

In the face of the global COVID-19 pandemic and severely battered global trade, the Canton Fair has moved online.<\/p>\n

CCBC guests and members were invited to attend an information session on September 30, 2021, about the 130th Canton Fair to learn from past Fair attendees, buyers, suppliers and personnel how to best attend and use your access to the Fair and connect with countless business opportunities.<\/p>\n

Philippe is responsible for building the CCBC membership base by connecting Canadian and Chinese businesses, promoting bilateral trade, organizing events, and delivering member services.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He has over 15 years of business experience in product design and development, consumer marketing, global trade, overseas manufacturing and sourcing. Prior to joining CCBC, Philippe owned a product design, development and sourcing business that connected Canadian companies with Chinese manufacturers. He worked for industry-leading companies including Reebok, Adidas, and CCM Hockey where he managed the development of state-of-the-art composite ice hockey sticks. Philippe also lived in Shanghai for a year to establish a Canadian-owned factory.
