2019 Canada-China Business Development Roadshow<\/strong> was held in Wuhan on June 12<\/strong> and in Nanjing on June 14.<\/strong> The Roadshow is designed to connect Canadian businesses with potential channel partners and investors in second- and third-tier cities, where China\u2019s economic growth is being driven. These half-day seminars presented in partnership with the Canadian Embassy, regional Consulates General, trade offices, provincial representatives and Destination Canada. For Canadian exporters, travel and accommodation funding, up to 75%, were available through the Global Opportunities for Associations (GOA) for qualified companies*.<\/p>\n

Following the seminar, there were industry breakout sessions for matchmaking opportunities. Participating Canadian delegates presented information about their company and met with potential Chinese partners identified according to their industry.<\/p>\n

Each session focused on three areas:
1.) Canadian investment promotions;
2.) Trading opportunities through B2B matchmaking;
3.) A tourism-focused reception.<\/p>\n
