The Honourable Deron Bilous<\/strong>, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Government of Alberta, and WANG XinPing<\/strong>, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Calgary were guest speakers at a CCBC buffet luncheon on Thursday, February 9, 2017, in Edmonton.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

They discussed the \u201cNew Golden Decade\u201d in Canada-China Relations and how an enhanced Canada-China relationship will increase trade and business in Alberta. This was followed by a panel discussion, moderated by Sarah Kutulakos<\/strong>, with panelists Traci Bednard<\/strong>, Vice President, Market Development, of the Edmonton International Airport, Qiang Lin<\/strong>, President and General Manager of Siwin Foods, and Darryl Nelson<\/strong>, President of Nelson Environmental Remediation, who shared their bilateral experiences and discussed how they anticipate this renewed relationship could impact their sectors.<\/p>\n
