A China-BC Networking Reception: Connecting Education, Business, and Government<\/em> was held by CCBC’s BC Chapter, the BC Council for International Education (BCCIE) and the Consulate General of the PRC in Vancouver. Speakers included the new Chinese Consul General TONG Xiaoling<\/strong> and Brian Krieger<\/strong>, Assistant Deputy Minister, Ministry of Jobs, Trade and Technology. This was the first BC Chapter event that highlighted the new CCBC education strategy.<\/p>\n

The event offered excellent opportunities for Canadian businesses to expand contacts and meet with key representatives from education, government and business communities with shared interest in strengthening and advancing links of cooperation and mutual interest.<\/p>\n
