Andr\u00e9 Pratte est un expert en politiques publiques et consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme l\u2019un des principaux intellectuels publics du Qu\u00e9bec. Il est pr\u00e9sentement conseiller strat\u00e9gique \u00e0 la firme nationale Catalyze4.<\/p>\n

Andr\u00e9 Pratte a si\u00e9g\u00e9 au S\u00e9nat du Canada de 2016 \u00e0 2019 en tant que s\u00e9nateur non-partisan. Auparavant, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 journaliste au quotidien La Presse pendant une trentaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es, notamment \u00c9ditorialiste en chef de 2001 \u00e0 2015.<\/p>\n

Observateur averti des affaires canadiennes et internationales, Andr\u00e9 Pratte a \u00e9crit plusieurs ouvrages sur la politique, l\u2019histoire et les m\u00e9dias. Il a \u00e9crit des articles sur la relation Canada-Chine et a analys\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9volution de l\u2019opinion publique sur la question.<\/p>\n

Andr\u00e9 d\u00e9tient un MBA de la University of Massachusetts et un certificat en communications corporatives de la Cornell University. Il \u00e9tudie en vue d\u2019un doctorat en histoire de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n

Andr\u00e9 Pratte is an expert on public policy and considered one of Quebec's leading public intellectuals. He is frequently invited to comment Quebec and Canadian politics in the media.<\/p>

Andr\u00e9 was a member of the Senate of Canada from 2016 to 2019, sitting as a non-partisan senator. Previously, he worked as a journalist for more than 35 years, 30 of which at La Presse newspaper in Montreal. He was La Presse\u2019s Editorial Pages Editor from 2001 to 2015.<\/p>

A keen observer of Canadian and world affairs, Andr\u00e9 Pratte has written several books on politics, history and the media. He has written articles about the Canada-China relationship and analyzed the evolution of public opinion on the topic.<\/p>

In 2007, 2008 and in 2010, at the National Newspaper Awards, he was the winner in the Editorial category.<\/p>

Andr\u00e9 holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts and a Certificate on Corporate Communications from Cornell University. He is a doctorate student in history at the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>

He chairs the Quebec Liberal Party\u2019s Policy Committee.<\/p>

Juan\u00a0Wang\u00a0is an associate professor of political science at McGill University, and the director of the Centre for Global Chinese Studies at McGill.
