Marketing in China is no different. On the other hand, marketing tools are, in many cases, very specific to China. In a webinar on April 8 moderated by Philippe Jeanneau, Director of the CCBC Prairies and Quebec Chapters, we studied the benefits and marketing strategies offered by WeChat mini programs.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Many people outside of China know that WeChat messaging is a must-have. In contrast, WeChat is much more than a messaging app. WeChat is a complete ecosystem of messaging, social networks, payment portal, etc.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mini-programs are mini-applications built within the WeChat platform. WeChat allows third-party companies to develop mini programs that provide advanced functionality to users that can run inside the app.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cMini-programs are a kind of application that doesn’t need to be downloaded or installed to be used. They realize the dream that apps can be accessed anywhere. Users simply scan or search to open the app. They use it and then exit the app, so you don’t have to worry if you’ve installed too many apps. The apps can be anywhere, you can use them anytime, but you don’t have to install anything.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n

If your China go-to-market strategy doesn’t incorporate WeChat, your business is unlikely to have the success it deserves, and WeChat’s mini programs are certainly worth your attention.<\/p>\n
