CCBC, in partnership with the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS)<\/strong>, presented a half-day workshop that focused on the extensive breadth of e-commerce opportunities in China, the largest online market, on February 22 in Toronto. The focus was to encourage Canadian companies to take advantage of the remarkable potential for their businesses which can result from a well-developed\u00a0e-commerce strategy that increases market presence in China. Guest speakers were\u00a0from Alibaba Group, Sovereign (China), LLC, and Vistra China.<\/p>\n

Cooper Williams<\/strong>, Senior Business Development Manager, Alibaba Group North America, the world\u2019s biggest and fastest growing e-commerce company, gave a comprehensive\u00a0introduction to Alibaba and outline\u00a0its many platforms. His immense e-commerce expertise provided attendees with key insights that could enhance\u00a0their online China strategy.<\/p>\n

Experts\u00a0Mark Ray<\/strong>, Director at Sovereign (China), LLC,\u00a0and\u00a0Karen Wang<\/strong>, Associate Director of Business Development at Vistra China, shared their in-depth knowledge of e-commerce in China.<\/p>\n
