SUMMARY:CCBC 2024 Women’s Business Mission to China
DESCRIPTION:The CCBC Women in Business China Mission is designed to serve the interests of Canadian women business leaders and/or representatives of women-led companies responsible for business development or exports to China. This Mission is designed to help women business leaders forge and strengthen partnerships for export and accelerate their China business development. \nStarting in Shanghai and concluding in Beijing\, the five-day 2024 Women’s Business Mission to China offers high-level interactions with senior executives across various businesses and organizations. Delegates will expand their networks and deepen their understanding of current market conditions. Broaden your in-market networks\, gain a competitive edge\, and make significant strides towards achieving your business goals. Leveraging CCBC’s extensive network cultivated over 45 years\, this Mission provides one-of-a-kind value\, including meetings and in-market visits that would be difficult for delegates to arrange themselves. \nThe Mission’s final business roundtable draws participation from CCBC’s signature annual event\, the 46th AGM and Business Forum\, which convenes executives and dignitaries involved in Canada-China business. Delegates will also receive complimentary access to the morning and evening portions of this prestigious event. \nClick here for more information and to apply.

SUMMARY:CCBC 2024 Indigenous Business Mission to China
DESCRIPTION:As Indigenous businesses\, development corporations and business organizations pursue growth and build infrastructure\, China’s growing market poses unique opportunities. With a rising consumer base and an increasing demand for natural resources\, China presents immense potential for Indigenous enterprises looking to diversify and expand. \nFrom November 13-15\, CCBC will lead a delegation of up to 15 First Nations\, Inuit\, and Métis entrepreneurs\, economic development executives\, and Indigenous leaders on a business mission to Beijing. The 2024 Indigenous Business Mission to China aims to build connections and partnerships\, helping delegates develop export markets and sources of investment to facilitate exports. CCBC has been leading business missions to China for over 40 years\, and this marks our third mission focused on Indigenous groups. \nThe Mission will offer a series of activities\, curated meetings\, and business interactions to help delegates enhance their knowledge of business in China\, broaden their in-market networks\, and achieve their business goals. The three-day Mission includes CCBC’s 46th AGM and Business Forum\, along with exclusive visits\, meetings\, and activities tailored to the delegation. \nClick here for more information and to apply.

SUMMARY:CCBC 2024 Canadian Education Mission to China
DESCRIPTION:In 2024\, Canadian Designated Learning Institutions (DLIs) are navigating new challenges in school partnerships and student recruitment in China. Recent announcements from Immigration\, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) about study permit application caps\, provincial attestation letter (PAL) processes\, and changes to post-graduate work permits and spousal work permit eligibility have introduced uncertainties. Though still a top destination for Chinese students\, Canada now faces intense competition from the US\, UK\, Australia\, New Zealand\, and Asian countries. To maintain their competitive edge\, Canadian educational institutions must actively engage with their Chinese counterparts. \nFrom November 13-15\, CCBC will lead the 2024 Canadian Education Mission to China for delegates from Canadian universities\, colleges\, high schools\, language centres\, and educational service companies. The Mission will include meetings with counterparts from Chinese universities\, colleges\, high schools\, educational service companies\, and Chinese officials from affiliated organizations of the Ministry of Education. Two routes are planned for school visits and meetings on November 13 and 14\, focusing on school partnerships and recruitments across 12 destinations. On November 15\, CCBC will host the 2024 Canada Education Forum\, inviting representatives from Chinese universities\, colleges\, high schools\, and education agencies across China to engage with Mission delegates. \nThe three-day program will also encompass CCBC’s 46th AGM and Business Forum. Furthermore\, local educational service companies will provide opportunities for Canadian schools to hold mini-education fairs at their facilities in the days following the Mission. \nClick here for more information and to apply.

SUMMARY:CCBC 46th AGM & Business Forum
DESCRIPTION:CCBC will build on our successful 45th AGM & Business Forum\, which brought substantial reengagement energy to the business community. We will again link the event with incoming delegations and welcome Canadian groups from all three levels of government to include this event in their plans. In an environment where our competitor countries are actively engaging at all levels\, the AGM is a platform that allows Canada to stand a little taller among those competitors\, drawing positive attention to Canada among business partners\, Chinese officials\, and other stakeholders. \nRegistration is now open. Visit ccbcagm.com for more information and to purchase tickets. \nCreative ideas for sponsorships are welcome\, contact Sarah Kutulakos (sarah@ccbc.com) to discuss.
