The Canada China Business Council (CCBC), in partnership with the Rotman Institute of International Business, launched the Canada China Business Survey Report in Beijing on April 25, 2017. CCBC is holding a session in Toronto to provide an overview of the results and lead a conversation on the opportunities and obstacles uncovered in the survey.
While there are challenges of doing business in China, the most significant finding is that those actually doing business show an optimism and eagerness to continue to grow the bilateral relationship. These companies are succeeding, seeing additional opportunity, and investing their time and resources to grow and expand. This applies equally to Chinese-owned companies operating in Canada as it does to Canadian-owned businesses operating in China.
