CCBC is presenting its 2019 Canada-China Business Development Roadshow. The half-day seminars will take place in six second- and third-tier Chinese cities throughout 2019:
Wuhan – June 12
Nanjing – June 14
Fuzhou – September 4
Guangzhou – September 6
Xi’an – December 11
Chengdu – December 13
(Venues and times will be announced shortly.)
The Roadshow is designed to connect Canadian businesses with potential channel partners and investors in cities where China’s economic growth is being driven. These half-day seminars are presented in partnership with the Canadian Embassy, regional Consulates General, trade offices, provincial representatives and Destination Canada. For Canadian exporters, travel and accommodation funding, up to 75%, may be available through the Global Opportunities for Associations (GOA) for qualified companies*.
Canadian delegates will have an opportunity to meet with Chinese companies and investors to explore opportunities for distribution, collaboration, trade, and investment. The sessions will promote and present Canadian projects and market information to Chinese partners to establish new business connections. CCBC will work with local Chinese governments and prominent industry associations to identify and secure pre-qualified Chinese investors and channel partners.
Chinese guests will receive exclusive access to a number of investment and trade opportunities in Canada as well as information on the legal and financial steps required to successfully manage those arrangements. In each city, a maximum of 10 Canadian companies looking to export their products and services to Chinese markets will be featured.
Following the seminar, there will be industry breakout sessions for matchmaking opportunities. Participating Canadian delegates can present information about their company and meet with potential Chinese partners identified according to their industry.
Each session focuses on three areas:
1.) Canadian investment promotions;
2.) Trading opportunities through B2B matchmaking;
3.) A tourism-focused reception.
